St Johns Park Public School is located in the Fairfield District in the South Western Area of Sydney. The students come from widely varying socio-economic backgrounds and cultures, with ninety-two percent having a Non-English Speaking Background. It is a Priority Schools Program school which provides equity programs focussed on improving student learning outcomes, with an emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy. Special programs include English as a Second Language teaching, Community Language teaching in Chinese and Vietnamese, an Opportunity Class, a Support Class, Student Learning Assistance Teachers, Early Student Support Program,Reading Recovery and an on-site Preschool.
