Education Directory introduces School Of Teacher Education Dubbo in Dubbo East, for all your education and learning needs.
The School of Teacher Education at Dubbo Campus prepares primary and early childhood teachers for rewarding careers in schools throughout the world. As in all professional degrees at Charles Sturt University, the education programs at Dubbo Campus place a strong emphasis on the relationship between the theoretical and practical elements of the teaching profession.
The School of Teacher Education has a productive relationship with schools, pre-schools and centres in the Dubbo region, with many local school teachers being utilised as part-time lecturers. A number of our subjects also involve working closely with school students on real educational projects, allowing our students to gain hands-on experience relevant to their future careers.
The four-year bachelor degree programs in primary and early childhood education prepare graduates to recognise classrooms as a body of students with diverse learning needs. This inclusive ethos is fostered by core subjects in both programs that position the learner in the centre of the teaching/learning experience. As a result, our students graduate as teachers with expert knowledge on how children learn. Through a wide variety of practicum placement options, students also graduate with the confidence to teach across all stages in which they have qualified.
The School of Teacher Education is committed to making a contribution to the social sustainability of our bioregion, the Murray-Darling Basin, by equipping our graduates with the skills to be able to make a significant contribution to schools of most need in our region.
Welcome to School Of Teacher Education Dubbo one of the popular educators in your Dubbo East area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
