Our school is located in Coromandel Valley, in the city of Adelaide in the state of South Australia. The school is a medium sized primary school of around 450 students covering 8 years of education, Reception to year 7.

Our school is an authorised International Baccalaureate World School teaching the Primary Years Program (years R - 5) and the Middle Years Program (years 6 & 7). More detail about the International Baccalaureate Organisation can be found on the curriculum pages of this website.

Our school teaches the eight areas of the curriculum: English, Maths, Science, Health & Physical Education, Technology, a language other than English (German), The Arts and Studies of Society & Environment. The Middle Years International Baccalaureate is also a feature of our school curriculum in years 6 and 7 and we are exploring the Primary Years Program for years R-5.

The school has very high levels of achievement in Literacy and Numeracy. Sport is a feature with two thirds of students participating in after school sport. The school has a Jump Rope demonstration team that visits other schools to promote the Heart Foundation and participates in popular and hip-hop dance. Music is also popular with all students participating in music, the year 6 and 7 students can be extended in the Festival Choir and half the students are learning instrumental music. Visual Arts extension is available for those with talent in this area. Information technology resources in the school are of a very high standard and teachers are supported with a specialist computing leader to develop teacher's and student's skills. The school is strong in Science and Environmental Education and each year designs and constructs one or more Pedal Prix cars to compete with other schools. Lessons are also supported by the teaching of Thinking Skills where students learn how to learn, as well as values & social skills through the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile.
