Punchbowl Public School is a P-6 Positive Behaviour for Learning school which serves the community of Punchbowl. 98% of students come from families who have a language background other than English and the school enjoys strong relationships with the parent body which has an active P&C. Our vision is to create an inclusive learning environment with high expectations which enables students to become independent, successful lifelong learners. Our vision is further encapsulated by our school motto "Learning Together" which reflects our belief that learning requires purposeful and continuous collaboration between students, staff and the community. The school has a highly professional and dedicated staff of teaching and non teaching staff including a strong executive team, an Instructional Leader, classroom teachers, specialist teachers including Community Language teachers, and teachers who support students with learning difficulties and who have a language background other than English, counsellors and school administrative staff. The school also has a pre-school, an early intervention centre which caters for the needs of pre-cchool children with disabilities and a support class.The school also has a School as Community Centre which provides a broad range of services to our community.
